Ivaylo Kraychovski is a Bulgarian musician, a bass guitarist in the FSB
group, an ideologist and initiator for the creation of the group "Old
mates" together with a veteran of the Bulgarian rock Georgi Minchev, as
well as the project BG BEND - open format for Bulgarian rock music,
various prominent musicians.
Exclusive musician and bass guitarist with their own style and style,
preferred by many artists to record their music.
It is also known for its acquaintance with its broad general culture,
which is far from exhausted with music, has a remarkable knowledge of
history, theology, politics, relation to the current events in Bulgaria
and around the world.
Ivailo Krajchowski is involved in major causes related to the musicians'
class, to the disadvantaged.
He has been playing violin for five years and is studying a solfeggio.
When in 1976 he was a student in the ninth grade of XXI high school in
Sofia, he became a member of the group of non-musicians who were not
accepted at the Music School and started playing bass guitar.
In this video, since 1998, captured thanks to Angel Andonov's initiative,
Ivailo tells about the bass guitar and his musical journey.

In 1983 he graduated from the "Pop and Jazz Arts" faculty of the Music
Academy in the bass guitar class of Prof. Simeon Venkov. Appears in
audition for a bass player in place of Alexander Baharov from the FSB and
is accepted into the band. His debut on stage makes a FSB concert at the
Academic stadium for 15,000 audiences. Although the other members of the
band have defined him as a concert musician, he has also been involved in
the recordings of the 1984 FSB VI album. He has also worked actively in
the FSB studio as a tuneress and music producer, and in 1993-1995. - at
MMD Multimedia and Balkanmuzik, where he takes part in the creation of the
albums of a number of Bulgarian pop singers, rock groups and jazz
formations.
In 1996, Ivaylo Kraychowski became the music director of Sofia Film Fest.
Deputy Chairperson of the Bulgarian Executive Association and member of
the Managing Board of BNNAZ - Association of Recording Studios in
Bulgaria. Organizer of the Flower for Gosho Memorial Concerts and various
rock festivals and scenes. He participated in the New Year's concert on
the occasion of the accession of Bulgaria to the EU in 2007 in the
expanded with young musicians band "FSB".
He left
us
suddenly on 21 August 2018 in Sofia
(57).
The Bulgarian memory for memory
Fans of rock music and music in Bulgaria in general on August 22 forgave
and sent Ivailo to his last earthly road.
In recent years he had distanced himself from his previous FSB group or
his colleagues had distanced themselves. Even now, at the end of his
earthly road, this distance was noticed. Only one of the group, Konstantin
Tzekov, came to say goodbye to Ivailo.
The tragic occasion brought many people back to previous events and video
stories. Last year, 2017, Oct. 7, the group made a
concert for 40 years FSB. The performances before him, and the concert
itself, are somewhat strange that names of the
people connected to this group missing. Nobody and
nowhere talks about Pepi Slavov, a drummer and great musician, about
Ivaylo Kraychowski - a bass guitarist, too. This seems like some strange
group complex, perhaps purely Bulgarian - trying to erase something from
history. Then it is usually the opposite - the one who makes such attempts
depersonalizes himself.
A site, on this occasion, wrote "Ugly". We will not use that. But it is
not really beautiful or worthy ...
They all want to be big, meaningful - then it is incomprehensible why they
are diminishing themselves.
There is a lot of rupture in rock history, everyone will think of
examples. But people name problems, acknowledge mistakes, pay due
attention. Using the Bulgarian language - they manage to separate the
chaff from the grain. And they stay big.
Boldness, peculiarities of the national character or complexes associated
with lack of freedom over long periods of time? The answer is somewhere
out there.
